Weiler Abrasives at the INTERNATIONALE EISENWARENMESSE 2022

UNVEILING THE FORMULA FOR SUCCESS: OUR DEDICATION, ENGINEERING EXPERTISE, AND PRODUCTIVITY-ENHANCING SOLUTIONS

Finally, Weiler Abrasives was able to attend the Internationale Eisenwarenmesse in Cologne. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in person at one of the biggest events in the hardware industry for the first time in a long time. Our company exhibited on a 190m2 stand, which allowed us to present ourselves in a versatile way. We also used the event to strengthen our ties with existing partners.

To demonstrate our expertise and commitment to visitors, we decided to present the following at the tradeshow:

the complete range of products under both Metalyx and Toroflex brands, covering all the needs of the object industry,
an entirely new and original trade show concept, offering a great insight into the world of Weiler Abrasives products,
our innovations that make work in production easier, faster, and more productive; and
our entire team of experts.

Our concept has shown visitors what lies behind the success of our long-standing tradition and presence on the market. The formula is simple, a lot of dedicated work combined with rich engineering knowledge focused on developing products that increase productivity and eliminate bottlenecks in grinding and processing.

We also paid special attention to successfully communicating our value package with existing or future partners.

Trade show concept

Due to the importance of the trade show, we decided to develop a new and unique presentation concept that covers all aspects of our products. The concept focuses on appealing to all 4 visitors' senses and is supported by the following slogans:

Our "History Wall" was also a fantastic show-stopper. The wall presented our history and merger as a global company by displaying the key milestones of Swaty, Comet, SwatyComet, and Weiler.

The Team

The preparation and implementation of such an important trade show require a lot of planning, effort, and, above all, dedicated people who help to realize all the objectives. All our colleagues had a common focus, i.e., to provide the visitors with all the necessary information, help develop new business opportunities and provide their expertise.

At this point, it is important to thank the entire team that represented us so professionally and enthusiastically in Cologne. All of them are experts in their specialized fields, excellent team players - simply people leading the Weiler Way.

Weiler Virtual World

We should also mention our in-house developed virtual reality (VR), i.e., work processes' simulation. We were very excited to be able to present for the first time at the Internationale Eisenwarenmesse.

The rapid development of technologies has a big impact on every aspect of our lives. The abrasives industry is no exception. In these times, it is vital to be able to use what technology has to offer to one’s advantage. That is the only way you can develop great abrasive products that guarantee longevity & safety. To present how we at Weiler Abrasives EMEA make sure you get maximum performance & ensure the safety of operators, we made use of virtual technology. We prepared a simulation of working processes and the working environment.

Since the use of virtual reality is a complete novelty, it is understandable that the visitors were excited and happy about this kind of experience.

Conclusion

While showcasing our products and technological innovations, the trade show provided many opportunities to network, strengthen our presence under the Weiler Abrasives brand, and gain insights into industry trends. So, to sum it up, participating in this internationally recognized trade show was a great success for both the team in Cologne and the entire company.
