New Brochure Features High-Performance Abrasives and More for Demanding Pipeline Welding Applications

6/17/2016

CRESCO, Pa. — June 17, 2016 — Weiler Abrasives Group, a leading provider of abrasives, power brushes, and maintenance products for surface conditioning, has announced the availability of its new Pipeline Brochure. Featuring high-performance stringer bead wheels, bonded abrasive wheels, flap discs and more for weld preparation and cleaning on demanding pipe applications, the four-page, full-color brochure has been designed to simplify the process of selecting the right product for pipeline applications.

Products in the brochure include the company’s popular Dually®, Roughneck®, Polyflex®, and Tiger® brands. A new product offering for pipeline applications — the Tiger Roughneck Pipeliner Wheels — has been designed for notching and facing applications. They combine a true 1/8-inch width for precise material removal, along with the ideal hardness and grain combination for optimal cut/life performance.

In an easy-to-read format, Weiler provides recommendations for products to use step-by-step — before, during and after welding — ensuring customers have the right products for notching and facing; removing slag, spatter or light corrosion; and for applying pipe coatings in the field.

In addition, Weiler has included recommended maintenance and repair products, such as its Tiger bonded abrasives for cutting and a variety of scratch brushes for cleaning applications.

Weiler offers the Pipeline Brochure for free PDF download in the Resource Library on its website. Interested parties can also request a hard copy by calling the Weiler Customer Experience Team at (800) 835-9999.
